Exploring Tarot: Insights from The Tarot Desk

Welcome to The Tarot Desk, where the cards are as curious as I am! This is my debut episode, and while my podcast setup is still a figment of my imagination, I’m diving in headfirst—like a tarot reader in a pool of crystal balls, but I’m testing the waters first, starting with the written word for those who prefer their mysticism with a side of peace and quiet.

I know what you’re thinking: Have I consulted the mystical cards regarding this launch? Not yet, but I’m gearing up to! And that leads me to my first point: tarot cards are like social media influencers—interesting, but definitely not a 100% reliable source of truth.

However, there is a resurgence of tarot cards, oracles, astrology, and other ancient practices intertwined with modern spirituality and self-discovery happening, and I’m intrigued by how much acceptance is out there to use these practices and esoteric traditions to seek deeper connections with ourselves. But like anything, you have to do the work. More on that later, unless the cards tell me to keep quiet!

Tune into my next episode and let’s find out? It’s the journey, right?
